Your filings, photos, and records stay on your device. We run no accounts, no analytics SDKs, no ad trackers, and we have no database of users. We cannot see your data. The iPhone app and the Android app do this differently, as described below.
When you file an item, the photo(s) you choose are sent over an encrypted connection to our processing proxy (hosted on Cloudflare) and forwarded to Google's Gemini API to extract text fields. This processing is transient: images are used only to produce the extraction result and are not stored on our servers. No name, email, device identifier, or location accompanies the request.
The one-time unlock is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Purchase state is verified on-device with StoreKit.
The Android app, including the Google Play open test, stores filings and the photos you capture or pick in the app's private storage on the device. Text recognition runs on the device. The app uses the system photo picker for an image you choose and does not request access to your whole photo library. The camera is optional.
This Android build does not send your filings, photos, or device identifiers to GRVT. It does not include an account, analytics, or advertising. Pro purchases are not enabled. If a purchase is offered later, Google Play processes the payment and GRVT does not receive your card details.
If you turn on Android backup, Google may include this app's local data in the backup for your own Google Account. That backup is between you and Google. GRVT does not receive it.
Deleting the app deletes all of your data, because all of it lives inside the app.
